Your individual portrait photos

In association with your appointment as a university professor at the University of Vienna, you have the opportunity to have your portrait photo taken free of charge by a professional photographer. The University of Vienna uses the resulting photos in publications (e.g. in the annual performance report), brochures, folders and invitations, etc.

You will be sent the appointments for the individual photo sessions by Corporate Communications in due time.

The photographs are only licensed for publication and use affiliated with the University of Vienna. As the subject of the photo, you have the right to use your portrait photo for your own presentations in online and print media in connection with the University of Vienna (as long as the name of the photographer is mentioned and the copyright is clearly visible).

If the photos are passed on to third parties or the photo is used outside a university context, a fee for use must be paid to the photographer.
