As part of the appointment negotiations, the spatial conditions at the faculties and centers are presented, and suitable solutions are developed collaboratively.

In close coordination with the organizational units, the strategic space management team within the Space and Resource Management Service ensures that new professors are provided with suitable premises, furniture, and technical infrastructure in accordance with the university’s standard requirements. The focus is on functionality, quality of work, and the individual requirements of research and teaching.

In this way, we ensure that new professorships at the University of Vienna receive the spatial support necessary for a successful appointment process from the very beginning.
