Collective bargaining agreement for university employees

The collective bargaining agreement sets out the rights and responsibilities of the employer and the employees.

It serves as the uniform legal basis for all employees of Austrian universities and sets out specific minimum standards (e.g. regulations on minimum salaries, improved periods of notice and pension provision through a pension fund).

The collective bargaining agreement is automatically valid for all employees who enter into a contract of employment with the University of Vienna.
